The Humpty Dumpty Challenge

No-one has to urge me to wash my hands. Heck, I’ve been a compulsive hand-washer as long as I can remember.

As a bit of an introvert, I’ve also been training for self-isolation all my life.

This is the good news.

The bad news for me is my meagre book sales have become even more meagre.

I’m philosophical about that. The important thing is we get through this and someone can put Humpty Dumpty together again.

Oh, they couldn’t first time round? Hopefully, we’ll learn from their mistakes. Whoever thought they could allocate the rebuilding task to all the king’s horses? Horses are crap at rebuilding.

Anyway, I’ve decided to ramp up my blog during these challenging times. I will post once a week.

I’m calling it News and Observations.

I’m going to try to keep up my sense of humour in the face of things, so expect some new columns. That’s the Observations part.

You’ll find a subscriptions button on this site, so you can get it by email — or you might prefer to bookmark this site and check it every now and then.

Whatever you’re most comfortable with. It makes no difference to me.

By News, I mean my writing news.

I’m not sure I’ll have too much to pass on there, but I do intend to plug on with it. What else it there to do?

Hold on, folks. We’re going on a wild ride. But it will end.
