Think of it as a loyalty novel

You can now get the fifth novel of my Windy Mountain series free.

That’s right. The eBook of Blokes in the House is now available for nothing – on any platform, in any listed country.

It’s a black comedy about three men in their eighties who are thrown together in quarantine.

It’s bad enough they don’t actually get on, but nobody told them Tasmanian Tigers and hitmen were going into lockdown with them.

I’m thinking of this along the lines of a loyalty card. #1 is already free. If you want #2, #3 and #4, you’ll have to part with a few dollars. Then you get to #5 and instead of a free coffee you get a free novel!

When I think about this, I’m the one who gets the free coffee every time I sell a couple of books! But it’s a win-win situation because you get some freebies too.

I’ve been happy with every novel in this series but I think my skill level is getting better with practice.

This practice will never make perfect, but Blokes in the House is getting nearer to the standard I want to attain.

If you like it, you’ll find a link at the end to preorder #6, Who Knew Tiger Sharks also Eat Apples? That releases on November 5 and, in my mind, goes up another step in quality.

It’s back to paid, I’m afraid, but my plan is to make #9 free again. That’ll probably drop in 2023.

Feel free to tell your friends about this. If they don’t like it, all they’ve lost is time. I wish them fair speed to a book they enjoy.
