My books

I have two funny series, one standalone novel and several collections for you to sift through.

This page is under construction. Sorry.

Windy Mountain

Strange things happen in Windy Mountain. Very strange things. This is a 10-book series of comic adventures based mainly in a quirky Tasmanian town. Nine down, one to go.

Book 1

Two old men break a silly law to help a mysterious newcomer.

Book 2

Shakespeare wannabe goes missing, town landmarks start disappearing.

Book 3

The old men are away, bad men and Elvis impersonators invade Windy Mountain.

Book 4

St Patrick must have forgotten to chase the Tasmanian Tigers out of Ireland. The old men travel abroad.

Book 5

The old men go into quarantine when COVID-19 panic hits Windy Mountain – but it doesn’t stop the hitmen.

Book 6

Back to the beginning. Former town drunk leads a community revolt against a money-grubbing mayor.

Book 7

Revenge. An old character returns to Windy Mountain in a new guise and someone is trying to spoil Christmas.

Book 8

Spoiler alert: Wish Wash doesn’t go to Billy’s first funeral but you couldn’t keep him away from his second burial.

Book 9

Wish-Wash and Oodles have a crack at this cloning caper. How hard could it be?

Book 10

I’m still writing it. I know it starts with a couples massage, and closes a loop that began in Lie of the Tiger.

  1. Lie of the Tiger
  2. Blokes on a Plane
  3. Whitey and the Six Dwarfs
  4. Blokes in Donegal
  5. Blokes in the House
  6. Who Knew Tasmanian Tigers eat Apples?
  7. Who Knew Tiger Sharks also eat Apples?
  8. The Life and Deaths of Billy Gumboots
  9. Blokes Send in the Clones
  10. Blokes do the Block (still being written)

Funny Capers DownUnder

Who the heck hired Bert Whish-Willson to review this series? If it were me, I’d skip to the sample chapters.

  1. The Wrong Magician
  2. Daddy’s Great Escape
  3. Escape from Mad Bill’s Island

Blast from the Past (all three books together)

Standalone

Another review by guess who, plus, more sensibly, sample chapters.
