The Life and Deaths of Billy Gumboots

SPOILER ALERT: I didn’t go to Billy Gumboots’ first funeral – but you couldn’t keep me away from his second one. Not for quids.

You might ask what had changed? You’ll have to read the book to find out.
What I can tell you is at the start of the novel Billy returns from a long, mysterious absence to manage the Tasmanian Tiger Museum.
He is befriended by the local undertaker who is motivated by a secret of his own.
He puts Billy in touch with a Latin-speaking handyman who installs for Billy something only upper-crust Romans could afford to have in their villas.
This sets tongues a’wagging at Windy Mountain’s gossip central, the Wind Tunnel Cafe.
Who knew so many people knew so much about Feng Shui?
The big question though is whether Billy will get to attend the anniversary of the Windy Mountain’s only football premiership.
Billy didn’t actually play in that team. But he insists his footy boots did kick the winning goal.
You can find The Life and Deaths of Billy Gumboots as an ebook on Amazon, Kobo, Apple Books, and Barnes & Noble. If you prefer the smell of paper and ink, the paperbacks are on Amazon too.
