Now there’s a title that tells you straight off things are about to get weird in Windy Mountain.
Tiger sharks? In a landlocked town? Apples? The last orchard was ripped out to make way for the Tasmanian Tiger Museum.
And yet somehow, the author’s made the book work. Don’t ask me how.
I will say this — the Windy Mountain gang are getting more confident, the plots are getting twistier, and the laughs come with sharper teeth.
James Northan has really outdone himself this time.
He wants to demolish the much-loved Wind Tunnel Cafe to build a hat-full-of-arseholes-ugly high-rise building.
So we are forced to respond.
Meanwhile, an old face appears in town in a surprising new role.
I can’t say too much.
I’m still laughing.
